ABOUT
Welcome to the web pages of the Northumberland Borders Rally, a unique, one day, navigational rally for classic Mini saloons, organised by the Newcastle & Durham Region of the Mini Cooper Register.

The 'Borders' consists of Special Tests during the day and a 'half night' navigational rally. Road book type navigation is used for the tests and plot & bash handouts for the leg after dark, with varying levels of difficulty depending on previous rallying experience.
​
As the name suggests, the rally is based in the fabulous rallying territory of Northumberland, but it also regularly takes in other areas including the remoter parts of County Durham and Cumbria.
​
The event is open to members of the MCR and those of invited Motorsport UK member clubs. A RS Clubmans competition licence, available free of charge from MSUK, is all that is required to take part.
The next edition of the Northumberland Borders Rally is scheduled for Saturday 15th March 2025. The Supplementary Regulations will be available for viewing and download from "Downloads" page of this website on 18th January 2025.
